An iPod Touch needs 500 mA of charging current, even a 300 mA charger won’t work (I tried it myself, it doesn’t).
Assuming you could actually get 0.4 W out of that panel at 5 volts, that’s only 80 mA of current. But small panels tend to have optimistic specifications, so the actual current you get could be just 20 mA.
You would look for a panel that says 5 volt output, 500 mA or more. Such a panel would likely be 1 foot square, or 1 foot by 2 feet.

Car Battery What would cause a car battery to gradually discharge over 2-3 days?
Basically I can always start the engine using my portable battery booster, and the battery does recharge as I drive my car since I can restart the engine normally after a short while (depending on how much I drove). However the battery does gradually discharge, and I must use the booster again if I wait more than 3-4 days.
Would this be a battery problem, or something else like the alternator (although the battery does recharge, and the car runs well once boosted)?

This is most likely one of two things: either the battery is failing (how old is it?), or you have something that’s drawing off of it over that time, maybe a trunk light or glovebox light, something like that. As batteries age, their ability to hold a charge declines.

Marine Battery Charger 1996 225 Mercury Outboard No Spark?
OK, so I let the boat sit for way too long…now working to get it going again…
Both deep cell marine batteries dead, won’t hold charge…Using a charger, tried to get the engine started…engine cranks, but no love.
With a friend’s help, checked the spark plugs and no spark…Checked kill-switch and it was depressed by the doohickey, all good there…wondering though if that kill switch maybe controls spark and it went south during the “resting period”?
Also checked the fuse on the powerhead electric box (?) and it looked fine.
Looking for suggestions of things I can check to see why plugs aren’t getting juice.

Your instinct is right in that most kill switches interrupt the flow of electricity to the spark plugs. Are you certain that there is no power to the plugs? If that is the case the ignition coils for the plugs may have been compromised but for all of them to be damaged seems unlikely. The first thing to check is to make sure that the kill switch is properly hooked up to the ignition wiring that runs up to the remote from the engine and that the wiring is in good shape.
Another option is that the alternator is not providing enough electricity to the engine to properly manage the power demands. This may also have something to do with your batteries not being able to maintain a charge.
The batteries themselves may be compromised and unable to provide the necessary amps/voltage at the start. I would consider replacing the batteries and make sure that they meet the manufacturer’s recommendation for CCAs. Hope this helps at least give you some more things to check before running up a big service bill.

I have a car battery to import died sitting in my car. I use my car for about three months and a week ago, I realized that the anti-theft light on the radio stops blinking. I have a 1A charger net on the battery, meaning more for motorcycle batteries.
